Financial Data Expert joins Hybrid Cryptocurrency Exchange
Financial analyst and big data expert Jose Luis Coirolo has joined the hybrid cryptocurrency exchange platform Qurrex.
“His expertise and unmatched experience in application integration, financial analysis, and big data administration will be hugely beneficial and rewarding to Qurrex,” CEO Matthijs Johan Lek said of Coirolo. Qurrex announced Coirolo’s recruitment on February 8, 2018.
Netherlands-based Qurrex is building a next-generation platform designed to offer both the centralized architecture of traditional stock exchanges and the attributes of decentralized cryptocurrency exchanges. The hope is that system will offer greater security, reliability, liquidity, and to traders from all over the world.
Data Management Expert Joins Qurrex
Coirolo is an expert in market data services, market data services, data access, data management, order execution, trading applications, business strategy, data strategy, data administration, and trading applications in the financial industry.
Coirolo founded the advisory services firm; Sapient Venture Partners, where he served as a managing partner. His experience includes a stint as managing director for data management at NYSE Euronext and Intercontinental Exchange. Coirolo also served as Head of Market Data Services at Caxton Associates LLC and worked with Donaldson, Lufkin, & Jenrette.
Coirolo is an honors graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also holds an MBA from the University of Deusto in Spain.
The First Hybrid Crypto Exchange
Qurrex is designed as the “first hybrid cryptocurrency exchange.” It is being built by a team of professionals with years of experience building high-load systems at traditional stock exchanges.
The ultimate goal at Qurrex is to offer best execution service to all users through its Qurrex Dex blockchain. That will be achieved by building a decentralized exchange (DEX) that operates like a centralized exchange (CEX).
Qurrex plans to raise funds for its platform through a sale of its ERC20 (Ethereum-based) utility token QRX. A presale of QRX is scheduled for February 27 to March 7, 2018. A public sale of the QRX tokens is scheduled for March 19 through April 7, 2018.
