Can the XCAD Network make money from YouTube?

The XCAD Network (XCAD) is a tokenization platform built to help YouTubers and other creators make their own cryptocurrencies.

The hope is that creators could reward viewers with their own tokens via the XCAD Plugin. Notably, XCAD’s website admits the XCAD Plugin is not yet available.

The XCAD Network comprises the XCAD Plugin, the Influencer MarketCap, and the XCAD DEX. They hope to add an NFT Marketplace to the XCAD Network soon.

The XCAD Network

The XCAD Plugin will let users earn, stake, view, and trade creator tokens. The Influencer MarketCap allows users to track and analyze tokens. The XCAD DEX (decentralized exchange) allows users to swap, trade and sell creator tokens and other creator assets. The NFT (nonfungible token) marketplace will allow users to buy creators NFTs.

The hope is that users will download the XCAD Plugin and add it to Chrome. They will then watch YouTubers and get rewarded.

The developers plan to launch the NFT Moments Platform, the V2 DEX, Swap and Trading features for the XCAD Plugin, Exchange Listings, and Chain expansion in the Second Quarter of 2022. They hope to launch a Mobile App, a Creator Dashboard, Twitch Integration, and Exchange lists in the Third Quarter of 2022.

Creator Utility Tokens

The basis of the XCAD Network will be the creator tokens or personalized cryptocurrencies for YouTubers.

Once the XCAD Network is up and running. Users will be able to earn NFTs through staking, swap for other creator tokens, trade Tokens in the XCAD DEX, Govern Creator Decisions, Swap Creator Tokens for XCAD (XCAD), and purchase and other creator services with creator tokens.

They claim XCAD gives creators opportunities for additional monetization of content through Creator token unlocks and the sale of merchandise and creator-based services. XCAD Tools include a browser extension, creator swap, staking, a bridge, and governance.

Staking will allow XCAD holders to earn rewards through a Tether (USDT) and XCAD (XCAD) Liquidity Protocol Pool, an NFT Staking Farm, the XCAD DDEX, a Polygon Liquidity Protocol Farm, and a Binance Smart Chain (BSC) Liquidity Protocol Farm.

What Value does the XCAD Network (XCAD) Offer?

Mr. Market thinks the XCAD Network (XCAD) could offer some value. For instance, CoinMarketCap reports XCAD was the third most trending cryptocurrency on 27 May 2022.

Additionally, CoinMarketCap gave XCAD a $3.85 Coin Price, a $936.617 million Market Capitalization, a Fully Diluted Market Cap of $767.218 million, and a 24-Hour Market Volume of $6.150 million on 2 June 2022. What Value could XCAD obtain?

Theoretically, the XCAD (XCAD) Network could obtain enormous value because of YouTube’s vast popularity. Notably, YouTube was the second largest social media network on Earth with 2.562 billion users in January 2022, Statista estimates.

Furthermore, Statista estimates YouTube had an audience of 467 million people in India in April 2022. YouTube also had an audience of 247 million in the United States, 139 million in Indonesia, 138 million in Brazil, 106 million in Russia, and 102 million Japan in April 2022.

Interestingly, YouTube had a penetration rate of 92% in the United Kingdom in 2021, Statista claims. YouTube reached an audience of 57.6 million users in the United Kingdom in April 2022, Statista estimates.

The potential user base for XCAD’s product could be large Earthweb estimates there were 37 million YouTube channels in January 2022. A YouTube channel is a space where somebody can stream content. YouTube channel owners range from individual creators to Hollywood movie studios.

Earthweb claims there are over 600 YouTube channels s that have at least 10 million subscribers. Additionally, 23,000 to 24,000 YouTube channels have over one million subscribers, Earthweb estimates.

Meanwhile, Earthweb claims Twitch had 30 million daily active users and 140 million monthly active users in 2022. Earthweb estimates viewers watch 71 million hours of Twitch content each day. Additionally, Earthweb estimates Twitch has 9.6 million streamers (content creators) each month.

Can XCAD penetrate YouTube?

In theory, the XCAD Network (XCAD) could make money off the world’s most popular video-streaming service.

However, I cannot see Alphabet (GOOGL) which owns YouTube, allowing somebody to add a plugin that lets creators bribe viewers to watch YouTube videos. I think that’s what the XCAD Network is.

I suspect Alphabet (GOOG) has buildings full of lawyers and engineers hard at work on ways to block or ban something like XCAD. I think Alphabet could block XCAD because crooks could use XCAD to pay people to watch YouTube channels to inflate advertising numbers.

Digital ad fraud is already an enormous problem. Business of Apps estimates companies will lose $81 billion to ad fraud in 2022. Ad fraud losses could grow to $100 billion in 2023. Tracking digital ad fraud is difficult because fraudsters hide their activities.

I cannot imagine Alphabet allowing anybody to build a platform which could make YouTube ad fraud easier. No company wants that kind of exposure to lawsuits and customer complaints.

In the final analysis, I think XCAD (XCAD) is an interesting cryptocurrency with potential value. However, I think XCAD’s business model could create a battle with one of the world’s richest and most companies Alphabet. I cannot imagine Alphabet losing that battle. I advise speculators to stay away from XCAD because I think this platform reeks of ad fraud.
