Anthem is considering leaving the Connect for Colorado Exchange, Colorado Public Radio (CPR) reported. That would leave thousands of customers in rural counties in Western Colorado with no Obamacare exchange options. Many of those people are old and sick and unable to find any other insurance.

Use the existing infrastructure of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid as the basis for the system. Since most pharmacies and medical clinics already accept Medicare, simply expand that system. The Medicare brand is also well known and widely respected.

One insurance company; Highmark, has requested a 48% premium increase for some policies offered through Pennsylvania’s Obamacare exchange next year, Lancaster Online reported. The average Obamacare premium in Pennsylvania will increase by 12% next year.
