Can DENT Make money by Tokenizing Wireless?

Dent Wireless is trying to build the first global wireless brand and telecom company with the DENT (DENT) cryptocurrency.

The plan at Dent is to build an exchange that allows customers to buy and sell voice minutes and prepaid top-ups for DENT (DENT) tokens in the Dent Exchange. Users could sell the prepaid top-ups and voice minutes as DENT eSIM data.

They claim you can use the DENT eSIM on your iPhone in 60 countries without roaming charges. The DENT eSIM is an app that takes the place of a subscriber individual module (SIM) card in a wireless device.

Instead of buying and inserting a SIM card, DENT customers download the eSim from the App Store, Google Play, or the DENT website. In the eSIM, the app is the subscriber individual module for the phone. The DENT eSIM provides both wireless and mobile data.

They plan to launch a prototype of the DENT eSIM/App with a phone number in 2022. DENT is testing another variant of the eSIM app in 60 countries now.

The DENT eSIM gives users DENT Worldwide Data which allows individuals top to pay for service as they travel. Note the DENT Exchange is not available in some enormous markets, including the United States and India.

The DENT Gigastore

Users can buy and sell DENT tokens in the DENT Exchange and at the DENT Gigastore. The DENT Gigastore is a reseller platform for eSIM mobile data packages.

Another feature is DENT Teams app that allows you to share data volume with unlimited numbers of people or devices. They share the data through the Dent ecosystem, which they claim can share data with any eSIM-capable device.

DENT Teams could serve mobile data resellers, small businesses, individuals, and family and friends. They claim DENT Teams is available in 60 countries including China, Australia, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, and Germany. However, DENT is not available in some markets including the United States and India.

Decentralized Wireless

They hope to expand DENT worldwide through micro operators using satellite internet connections. Each micro operator will offer wireless service through a DENTNet Node Hardware Unit.

I guess the DENT microoperators will connect to the internet through a service such as Elon Musk’s Starlink. Then resell the service through the DENTNet Node. They will build a DENT Mobile Network Radio Infrastructure.

The DENTNet Nodes and the Dent Mobile Network Radio Infrastructure will connect micro operators and users to DENTNet the Blockchain for the Telecom Industry. The eSIM will connect wireless customers to the DENTNet Blockchain.

Telco in a Box

DENT Wireless hopes to test prototypes of DENT’s “Telco in a box” hardware in 2022. The Telco in a box could contain 4G and 5G wireless hardware with a radio core, administration WiFi, a DSL connection, a Satellite Connection, Blockchain Node Hardware. Naturally, the telco in a box will be eSIM Compatible.

DENT’s ultimate plan is to let anybody set up her own wireless network using the Telco in a Box Hardware and the DENTNet Blockchain. Unfortunately, they do not reveal the cost of the Telco in a Box.

 There are also plans to integrate existing wireless providers through DENTNet Node software units. The software units will connect existing wireless providers, such as Verizon (VZ) to the DENTNet Blockchain.

The current plan is to release the DENTNet blockchain in 2022. However, DENT eSIMs are already available in 60 countries. Hence, part of the DENT Network is already operating.

They plan to launch the DENT Teams video collaboration App and DENT Earn 3.0 in 2022. The DENT Earn allows users to earn DENT Tokens through kickbacks and phone use.

One hope at DENT is to offer wireless service in underserved areas such as Africa through DENTNet Micro Operators with Telco in a Box and a satellite internet connection.

Can DENT Make money from Wireless?
